Snowflake Ice Cream Shoppe in Riverhead has been around since 1953, and we still use the same original recipes created by founders Herb and Joan Kunitz. My wife, Carolyn, and I took over in 1988 after leaving our Wall Street jobs, fulfilling a childhood dream. Our shop is a community favorite, known for unique, customer-suggested flavors made from local ingredients. Learn more about our story here.
